Tools for Treatment:  Contech Webinar

Please join Contech Engineered Solutions for a FREE 1-hour webinar hosted by Jacob Dorman and Glen Payton on "Tools for Treatment: The Science Behind Treatment Strategies for New NPDES Rules Compliance in Tennessee."

Educational Webinar Overview:

This webinar will focus on key pollutant removal processes of the various treatment levels established by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC)’s new National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) rules for Phase I and Phase II Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permittees. We’ll share effective implementation strategies that meet required pollutant removal performance for selected stormwater control measures (SCMs) and address how various proprietary solutions offered by Contech Engineered Solutions can assist MS4s and the development community in meeting these new standards while continuing to protect local water quality.

What you will learn:

  • New permits establish a baseline for treatment of a specific water quality volume depending on a SCM’s primary pollutant removal process.

  • All levels of treatment are considered equivalent.

  • Various non-proprietary and proprietary SCMs are associated with each level of treatment.

  • An expanded toolbox of SCMs will incentivize innovation and improve water quality compliance within Tennessee.
